130513: ‘Monstar’ Yong Jun Hyung, “Director says I have many similarities with Park Yoochun”

Ever since he was cast in a new drama by, Kim Won Suk PD, who previously directed ‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal’, Yong Jun Hyung has also been compared to Park Yoochun.

“I feel pressured by stories about Park Yoochun. Though I don’t know whether or not fans would dislike [it], director-nim says there are many similarities with Park Yoochun,” answered Yong Jun Hyung.

Regarding his acting debut in ‘Monstar’, Yong Jun Hyung said, “I’ve dreamt of becoming a stage actor since high school, but I think I have to do a good job in acting in ‘Monstar’,” and “director-nim also gave me compliment, saying I resemble Park Yoochun.”

‘Monstar’ is the latest work by Kim Won Suk PD; his last production was KBS2 ‘Sunkyunkwan Scandal’ in 2010, in which Kim PD witnessed Park Yoochun’s debut as an actor. However, concerning whether or not he feels burdened by having some resemblance with Park Yoochun, Yong Jun Hyung said, “he didn’t say it was a similarity in appearance, but rather similarities in the aspect of drama filming.”
